Our Story
How it All Started
I originally created The Road to Financial Freedom to teach my family how money really works. During the pandemic, I remember hearing someone on TV say, “If you don’t use this time to learn something new, you’re wasting it.” That stuck with me. So I started studying money. I read books, watched videos, and soaked up everything I could.
The more I learned, the more I realized how much we were never taught. I wanted to share that knowledge in a way that felt natural, fun, and powerful. So, I created a game. We played it for Thanksgiving and my family loved it. They told me I had something special and that I needed to share it with the world.
This isn’t just a game. It’s a way to have real conversations, shift mindsets, and build confidence around money. Every move you make teaches you something you can use in real life.
The Road to Financial Freedom was born out of late-night conversations, real struggles, and a deep desire to break generational patterns. I wanted a way to make money make sense — not through boring lectures or overwhelming books, but through something we all enjoy: playing a game.
I sat there and thought to myself, if money is a game, you need to know the rules to win.
But here's what most people don’t realize — everything in this game means something. From the colors to the questions, the pieces to the investments, there are layers of meaning built into every part of it. There’s a hidden message within the game for those who are really paying attention. It’s designed to shift how you look at money, how you invest, and how you see the world around you.
I’ve spent thousands and thousands of hours learning about money, real estate, inflation, and the systems that hold us back from achieving financial freedom and I’ve poured all of that into this game. It’s my way of passing on what I’ve learned, just like the Underground Railroad. Quiet. Intentional. Powerful. Designed to help the next person make it a little further.
I want to help change the world, even if it just means changing your mindset. This game changed my life by applying what I learned and changed my friends’ lives just by sharing it. Now I want to share it with you.
This is what financial freedom looks like.
